flaring beam guard transitions to permanent barrier

Description Text I know that flaring a beam guard transition is not what we want to do. However if the concrete barrier that the beam guard transition is connecting to is flaring is that OK?

Response Flaring an approach guardrail transition is not the most desirable layout and typically not recommended. However, for very shallow angle flares (e.g., 15:1), the performance of the system may not be affected.
